Before we can provide you with an application form we require that either yourself or somebody on your behalf views the property internally. Viewings can be arranged by contacting our office and are normally made during office opening hours.
Once you have viewed the property and decided that you would like to proceed with the application we will need some basic details from you. We suggest sending us an e-mail with the full names, contact telephone numbers (ideally mobile phone numbers) and e-mail addresses of every person who will be living at the property over the age of 18.
Using the details given to us above we will provide you with an application invoice which must be paid before we can provide you with the application form. Payment can be made either by bank transfer, cash, cheque or credit and debit card (there is a 3% surcharge for card payments). Details of our application costs can be found on our tenants page.
Once we have received cleared funds and the invoice has been paid in full we will setup the applcation form for you. We use a company called UKtenantdata to carry out our tenant referencing and they will send you a link to their online application form by e-mail. Alternatively you may fill in a paper form in our office should you not have access to e-mail.
You will have to provide your bank account details for a credit check, your employer details and current landlord details (if you have one) to obtain references. From this point onwards you may be contacted by UKtenantdata directly should they require any further information from you. The whole process normally takes between 2-3 working days however it can be completed in a day!
Once we receive the final reference report from UKtenantdata and providing everything is OK we will contact you to arrange a move in date which is when your tenancy will officially start. The first months rent and deposit will be required in cleared funds on or before this date.
Normally we will meet you at the property in order to go through the inventory before you sign the tenancy agreement. Once signed, your tenancy begins!
